Robert Sharp (He/Him)

Robert Sharp is the co-founder, owner, and CEO of Out Adventures, an international LGBTQ+ travel company founded in 2008. He brings nearly two decades of experience leading a mission-driven organization operating across multiple countries, with a strong focus on governance, financial stewardship, and inclusive leadership.

Robert has built and led teams through periods of growth and disruption, including the COVID-19 pandemic, developing a pragmatic and resilient approach to decision-making. His leadership emphasizes ethical operations, operational discipline, and workplace cultures that support accountability, professional growth, and sustainability.

Community impact is central to Robert’s work. Through Out Adventures, he has supported LGBTQ+ and health-focused charities in Canada and internationally, and has contributed to initiatives addressing displacement, exclusion, and access to opportunity. He has also served as a consultant to the Canadian Queer Chamber of Commerce, working on a federally funded tourism initiative focused on inclusion and market readiness. Robert brings to Youth Boundless a cross-cultural perspective and a commitment to helping mission-led organizations grow responsibly while remaining grounded in dignity, equity, and accountability.
